Addressing Ceramic Coating Myths

This blog post to clear up any misinformation about ceramic coatings. There is a lot of bad information on the internet these days concerning ceramic coatings. You also need to be wary of detailers selling you a coating on the premise that they are scratch proof and maintenance-free. Make sure you are properly educated and that you trust the detailer you are having to install a ceramic coating for you.

Ceramic coatings:

Are NOT scratchproof, you can still damage a coating

Are NOT maintenance free, you need to be washing your coated vehicle regularly

Are NOT rock chip proof, rock chips can still happen with a ceramic coating
